Alana Studio: Made With Love Photoshoot Vision

Alana Studio: Made With Love Photoshoot Vision

The Made With Love photoshoot was a project I worked on for a while. Before I could start coming up with the vision for the shoot I had to understand what I wanted my first few collections to look like. I gathered my inspiration from Pinterest, and past artworks I produced. This was my first time painting on canvas tote bag material and I had to get used to the experience as I created. As I continued I got more confident with the process and started to enjoy it more than working on regular canvas. I find exploring different materials helps advance my skillset and become more comfortable within my work.

After I completed the tote bags, I started to put together a vision board to help brainstorm some ideas. I wanted the photoshoot to encompass the feeling of being a teenager in this day and age. Specifically within my friend group Ann Arbor, Michigan is a place that is relative and comfortable for us, so I thought that would be the best location for this shoot. The main purpose of the shoot was to show off the different ways people could style my custom tote bags. The best way to execute this was to put together a diverse group of people and personalities. I wanted to show natural environments that people would be seen wearing tote bags and that was pretty much anywhere, so we decided to just have fun.

When editing the pictures I decided to add a film vibe to give the photos a sense of nostalgia. I thought the photo's turned out exactly how I wanted them and I am excited to continue more photoshoots in the future. This was my first brand photoshoot and I'm so happy about the support I've gotten thus far!
